Getting Started
The Invoice Reconciler offers an easy and straight-forward approach to ensure that all invoices are paid properly. To process, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Review and process the Needs Attention on the Payments screen. The Needs Attention highlights any payment that wasn't fully processed by the Invoice Reconciler. See Processing Needs Attention for further details.
- If you are missing any remittance payments, go to Credentials and press Run All Marketplaces. That will review the last 30 days for all enabled marketplaces.
- Step 2: Review the Watchlist to see a list of all unpaid invoices
- Be sure to Refresh the Watchlist if you just processed any payments. We refresh nightly.
- Filter your results to only include dates that we've reviewed and for events that are past the event date by xx days (Tip: We would suggest anything between 10-20 days past the event date)
- For unpaid invoices after filtering
- Double check to see if the unpaid invoice is present on the Payments screen. You can search by the External Ref number. If present, process and refresh the Watchlist again.
- Check to event status of the unpaid invoice. If the event was cancelled or rescheduled before you were paid, then you'll need to mark as such in your POS to remove from the list.
- For unpaid invoices you'd like to mark as paid or cancelled, you can upload the transactions via the Upload screen if the unpaid invoice has an External Ref number. Be sure to name the remittance number (or payment number column) something unique so that you don't confuse it with other remittances. See Uploading Payments for further detail. If it doesn't have an External Ref number, we won't be able to match it. So, you'll need to mark as paid manually in the POS.
- Finally for any remaining past due invoices, you should reach out directly to the exchange to inquire about payment.
